Programme Management Procedures The procedures for the organisation and management of taught academic programmes - includes information on responsibilities (Dean, Head of Division, Programme Leader, Module Co-ordinator); Programme and Student-Staff Consultative Committees; and Personal Academic Tutoring.
The Programme Leaders' Handbook has been updated and relaunched in September 2022
Policy on Inclusive Learning and Teaching Materials (policy under review in 2022) - This resource was developed during 2017 to mainstream inclusive practice that assists all learners, while ensuring that students with specific needs are supported.
Visiting Lecturers' Handbook A summary of important information for Visiting Lecturers (VLs) with a substantive input. The Handbook includes a checklist for Programme Leaders/other academic staff responsible for VL induction.
External Examiner Induction Aide Memoire Programme Leaders are responsible for on-site External Examiner induction. This aide memoire lists some of the key areas that it might be helpful to cover during the Examiner's visit.
Guidance for Students on External Examiner Reports The Guidance is provided annually to all Class Representatives early in the academic year. It contains key information, in a user friendly format, on the External Examining System in general, and in particular way that reports are used to assure and enhance quality within the sector.

Extenuating Circumstances Policy This document provides guidance to all staff and students on the definition and consideration of claims for extenuating circumstances. All claims must be submitted on the Extenuating Circumstances pro forma
Module Management
Module Alteration Form Use this form to change, withdraw or replace existing modules and to add new modules.
Module Descriptor Form The module descriptor form includes information about the content of the module, learning outcomes and experiences and the assessment pattern. Please refer to the guidance on completion below.

Module Evaluation Form - This is the QMU standard form. The form may be adapted to suit the needs of particular programmes. Questions may be specifically designed or drawn from the University's bank of optional questions. An online version of the form is available by default in every Hub module from the module menu. Instructions can also be provided on how to edit or devise your own module evaluation form on the Hub. Please contact Hub support regarding any queries on Hub module evaluations.
