What has been the highlight of your time at QMU so far?
Throughout my time at QMU, the highlight has been the incredible experiences of exploring the surroundings and building connections. Participating in the International student tours allowed me to discover new places, creating lasting memories with friends from diverse backgrounds. Joining the running society has been especially rewarding, providing the opportunity to explore the city, share these moments with newfound friends, and enjoy the refreshing experience of clear minds and fresh air.
What is one thing you wish you knew before coming to university at QMU?
As a master's student, I initially wished for more information about my course structure and the learning process. However, upon arriving at the university and meeting the friendly staff, everything became clear and more clarified. The welcoming atmosphere made me feel like a part of a friendly family.
What is your favourite thing about being an ambassador for QMU?
Being part of the ambassador family is genuinely thrilling. It's not just about representing the university; it's like joining a close-knit community where you get to make new friends and share experiences as one big unit. The ambassador role is a fantastic opportunity to enhance crucial life skills such as social communication, leadership, and time management. These skills aren't just beneficial for your university journey; they are essential in any work field. It's a chance to grow and learn while also deepening your connection with our wonderful university.
