Sports Centre Membership

Sport & Fitness memberships are available for students, staff and the general public. Membership provides you with use of the fitness suite, sports hall, all-weather pitch, fitness classes, induction and personalised training programmes. To arrange a tour of the facilities and to discuss the most suitable plan for you, please contact the sports reception on 0131 474 0150.

QMU Students

How to Join

To take out a Sport & Fitness membership, all you need to do is complete our online membership form and direct debit form (if applicable) on our sign up page. Your membership will then be activated.

Sport Centre Terms and Conditions

Direct Debit Information

Payments will be taken on the last working day of the month.

In addition to your joining fee, you will be required to pay a pro-rata payment for the current month at time of joining.

Monthly direct debits are for a minimum of 3 months, after which they can be cancelled by giving 1 months notice to the sports reception by email. You will be required to provide us with 1 further payment and then cancel your direct debit with your bank. Direct debits will run on a continuous basis until they are cancelled using this process.

Any missed payments will result in your membership being stopped immediately and will be reinstated once payments have been brought up to date.

Membership prices increase in September each year and will come into effect on your payment on the last working day in August.

Please note that a one-off £20 joining fee, due at time of joining and will apply to all memberships except where the full year is paid in advance.
