Early Release of Certificates prior to July 2024 Graduation Ceremony
Upon completion of your course you will be sent an academic transcript that will state your award. This document is sufficient evidence of your achievement for most purposes. Please contact registry@qmu.ac.uk if you have not received your academic transcript.
After a student has completed a course, their award must be ratified at a meeting of Senate before a certificate can be produced and issued. Depending on when a student completed their course, their certificate may be issued prior to the graduation ceremony.
- Students who complete their course between July 2023 and 18th October 2023 will be sent their certificates by post in November 2023. These students should expect to receive an email with more information in late October or early November 2023.
- Students who complete their course between November 2023 and 5th December 2023 will be sent their certificates by post in February 2024. These students should expect to receive an email with more information in early December 2023.
Students who receive their certificates by post prior to the graduation ceremony will still be invited to attend the ceremony. If they choose to attend they will cross the stage and receive a QMU award folder, the same as other graduating students. The folder will be empty however, as they have already received their certificate by post.
