Governance

Overarching aspects of the University’s sustainability activity, including climate change, fall within the remit of the Sustainability Committee, which reports directly to Senior Leadership Team with assigned executive level responsibility for sustainability.  

The Sustainability Committee aims to ensure an inclusive and equitable approach to sustainability and climate change with engagement integrated into operational areas with distributed ownership and stewardship. Measures to increase student engagement with the governance of sustainability will be championed. 

Progress will be monitored by the Senior Leadership Team with reporting through to University Court including metrics which will be established within the developed delivery plan and made publicly available via an annual report.
