Oonagh O’Brien is a lecturer at IGHD and is an anthropologist with over twenty years experience of working in gender, HIV and sexual health.
Oonagh has carried out extensive research and monitoring and evaluation projects, particularly in the fields of Gender and Sexual Health in a number of settings including Europe, Colombia, Uganda, Nepal and South Africa.
Oonagh teaches in Gender, Health and Development, and Sexual and Reproductive Health. She also supervises a number of PhD candidates with topics in the areas of migration, HIV and sexual health.
