QMU's own Tess Whittaker, Felix Schaeffler and Matthias Eichner are co-founders and executive directors of Community Interest Company, Fitvoice, with Janet Beck working in an advisory capacity using her clinical expertise and knowledge to support the service.
Fitvoice is based in Musselburgh, East Lothian, led by a team of voice care experts from QMU. Fitvoice offers a technology-enabled smartphone-assisted voice care service for occupational voice users such as teachers, lecturers, actors and other professional voice users.
Fitvoice was also announced as a finalist in the Social Enterprise category at the Converge Challenge Awards 2016
