"The BIZ provides many opportunities to build and grow your company and supports you along your entrepreneurial journey."

When I was studying Physiotherapy BSc (HONS) at QMU I developed at idea to enhance physiotherapy exercise prescription, but I did not have the confidence or knowledge to start my own business. We had a business module in 4th year, and this provided me with the basics on how to start my own company.

With support from staff, I developed my idea and applied for opportunities such as the BIZ and Converge challenge.

I was introduced to the staff at business gateway who further increased my entrepreneurial skills and supported my learning in the business world. As my idea has become a reality QMU have continued to support me through assistance with research projects and funding opportunities. I have undertaken research projects with 4th year Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation students through their dissertations, providing them with real life projects, and PhiiT with detailed data for the development of the company and product.
