Undergraduate Funding
Here we provide guidance on funding for Scottish students, students from the rest of the UK and students from the Republic of Ireland. (Find out more about funding for EU and international students.)
Students from Scotland
If you are a first degree student and ordinarily resident in Scotland, you are eligible for your tuition fees to be paid by the Scottish Government by applying to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
Tuition fees
Full-time Scottish domiciled students must apply for the payment of their tuition fees each year. You will need to complete an online application by the required deadline with SAAS.
You can make your funding application from April onwards. We advise you to make your application early and by 30 June to ensure that your funding is in place for the start of your course.

Students that study a Nursing degree program will receive a non-repayable, non means tested bursary as living cost support. From September 2020 this will be £10,000 per year for years 1-3 of the program, in year 4 this will reduce to £7,500. Students apply to SAAS for this support.
