Information for Students from Brunei
At QMU we have a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world. Around 25% of Queen Margaret University students are international coming from over 80 countries throughout the world.

Entry Requirements
For undergraduate courses:
We will consider applicants with good A Levels in appropriate subjects. These are detailed on each course page.
Admission to our undergraduate programmes can also be made by those holding a relevant diploma or other recognised qualification such as International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma with SAT’s or AP’s or other recognised qualification.
For postgraduate courses:
We will consider applications from students holding a good Bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Please note that the above is given for guidance only and that entry requirements will vary between courses. We may also be looking for a strong Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement, some work experience or specific subjects to have been studied at an advanced level. English Language Requirements
You should hold a recent English language qualification in order to be considered for study at Queen Margaret University.
Scholarships, Fees and Funding
QMU Scholarships:
The University is pleased to offer a number of competitive scholarships of up to £3,000 each for new international students undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £9,000 for a single year of study only. Applications can be made by students who have received an offer of a place of study at the University.
