Media Services
Media Services provides a range of audio-visual equipment and services to support students and staff. This ranges from the provision of basic audio-visual equipment in our teaching rooms to more specialist services such as video production, live streaming and AV support for events.

We offer advice to staff and students on the use and application of our facilities and services.
Media Services is located in rooms 76 & 78 on Level 0.
Hiring Equipment
To hire equipment please email the Media Services email address, this can be found on the staff intranet page.
Please state in your email what equipment you are looking to hire and duration of hire, including collection and return dates.

All equipment loans are limited to 7 days.
Media Server and BUFVC BoB
Staff and Students have access to the QMU Media Server. Within this they can record off air programmes and upload content. (Subject to copyright restrictions)
QMU also has a subscription to BUFVC Box of Broadcasts (BoB). This is an educational on-demand TV and Radio Service available to staff and students. (You can find a link to the service and training in the useful links section on this page)
