A rich hedgerow - a wonderful habitat for plants, trees and animals.


If we care for a hedgerow, we provide a home to a huge range of plants, trees and animals. Hedgerows provide vital places to nest for birds, and green corridors for mammals like hedgehogs and deer.

You could help create a hedgerow by planting trees or bushes on a spare bit of ground wherever you live, work or study.

Gifts of this place: watching birds and mammals, foraging for edible plants and fruit, exploring green pathways across East Lothian.
